Front Mudguard

Or fender to some.

I had an off on the way to the Dragon and cracked mine clean across (1986 Tenere). Anybody point to a supplier of a cheapish replacement, doesn't have to be a straight copy, so long as it fits with a bit of drilling. And preferably white so I don't have to muck about with spray.

Cheers,

Richard

Have a look on ebay there is loads of stuff out there, I think acerbis still do the retro looking universal fender but polisport etc all do similar stuff, look from £12 up and the up really does go up Tourathiefs are asking nearly £80 for a plastic front fender for the new xt660z !:scooter:

infact you have jogged my memorary I have a white fender that may suit its from an early TTr 250 but you can have it if you like just sort me out some dough for the postage, unless you frequent the M1 around junctions 17 - 20 then you could just pick it up.:scooter:

I have also been searching for one for my 1985 Tenere. The blue ones are impossible to find - Yamaha have none. You may be able to get white if that's what colour your after but I have just been quoted £78 + postage from Granby.

You may spot one on ebay Germany or Italy but then it's expensive postage.
Let me know what colour your after and if I spot one I'll let you know. Maybe you could also let me know if you see an original blue one.

Cheers

Wilco, though at those prices I shall be opting for the Acerbis or similar.

Mudguard through MCN

I agree e-bay is useful but i have had good results through MCN, either in the classifieds or breakers advertising new bikes being broken. Sorry to be vague but I am sure I saw one on ebay recently, maybe even the last few days..... Check it out...
