Fitting a bigger windscreen on a 3AJ?
Preparing for the patagonia winds in december this year . Is it wise to put a bigger/taller windscreen on my tenere. Has any body done this? Where can I get one. Or tips to make one. I'm 6,6 feet tall (2.00m) pretty tall will a bigger/taller windscreen bring more confort

It will bring you more turbulence around your helmet. Usually helmets are made to be as silent as possible in straight wind. Try this : take your screen off and ride. You'll hear the difference. Also it's safer to ride around without any screen to cut your throat or break your ribs when you bump into something.

An old thread with a link: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000356.html
My 3AJ Ermax is just taller (+15 cm), with a flip top. I am over 6'2" and don't feel any buffeting into the helmet, mentioned above. There should be a distributer in Holland, if you check the link/Ermax site. Geoff |

I've managed to get a couple of photos of my Ermax 3AJ screen, if that helps. Try this link for the first (and "next" for the second).
