electrical components lifespan.

hi there people,
im am preparing my xtz660 96 model for a trip from london to india in may 04.my machine has 45000kms on the clock and i wondering about the life span of the recifyer (fin cooled) the cdi and other vital components. is it unnecesary to carry a spare recitifyer,or other bits on a 25000km trip.
or should i just deal with them IF they break on route.
thanks guys...phil.

Don't worry, the new type rectifier with cooling fins won't let you down.
We don't have CDI ignition.
Take spare inner tubes. That's all.
