electrical components lifespan.
hi there people,
im am preparing my xtz660 96 model for a trip from london to india in may 04.my machine has 45000kms on the clock and i wondering about the life span of the recifyer (fin cooled) the cdi and other vital components. is it unnecesary to carry a spare recitifyer,or other bits on a 25000km trip. or should i just deal with them IF they break on route. thanks guys...phil. |

Don't worry, the new type rectifier with cooling fins won't let you down.
We don't have CDI ignition. Take spare inner tubes. That's all. ------------------ Fred, XTZ660, Holland.
