did,nt start
So I ,m getting ready to go to work tonight and press the starter button on my 2002 xt 600 and nothing happens,all electrics are good so I try to bump it and then after two attempts I try again and it starts.........it has always sounded a bit weak at starting so any idea,s?....I think as it has 74000 kms maybe the starter is a bit shot or maybe a bad electrical connection somewhere so tomorrow I ll start looking but if any one has any tips then I,d love to hear them....cheers

Check wiring, give al connections som special claeaner, or wd40. Meassure the voltage on the battery, it should be over 12v when the bike has sat for a while, actually perhaps closer to 13v than 12v.
Thén you can start to check the startermotor and so on, do the basics first.  Does your neutral lamp light? Does it helt to pull the clutch, is it better with sidestand up, an so on?
