1986 1VJ Tenere for sale - engine prepared by DL engineering for a trip in 2003 -
* bore honed
* new piston /rings etc
* 3AJ geargox fitted
* uprated oil pump
* new cam/rockers/inlet valves

Running on heavy duty spokes and good TKC-80 tyres.

Fresh MOT with about 14000km since the engine build in 2003.

Dave honed the bore to 1mm o/s so there is a bit of piston-slap and a bit of blue smoke on cold start but all runs well . The trip in question was across the Western Sahara (not with me) so the bike does have a few scars.
