G'Day all,

I have recently purchased a 1991 XT600E. I've been told that you can increase performance on these 1991 XTs by simply fitting the mikuni carby set from a 1984 XT600 tenere. Have any of you folks heard of this carby transplant and if so can you give me any more info about it?

ps. Is it possible to get a workshop manual for a 1991 model XT600E? I haven't been able to find one.

I took off the carbs on my 85 xt and threw them into the garbage. I replaced them with a set off of a raptor quad, took only a little bit of doing, WoW what a difference in performance on a whole:scooter:

There are probably other "free" sites; these are just a few that I have been pointed towards. The bikes are very popular in Germany, so it may be worth learning to read some :wink2: so that you can get info from their webpages.
