Brembo rear brake switch banjo bolt

Hi Hubbers,

I've got a 1997 TT600 with a banjo bolt rear brake switch. When I remove the two wires from the switch and connect them my stop light works suggesting a duff switch. Is the switch a servicable part or does it need replacing?

Many thanks,

Dickyb

Brake switches are sealed components from what I've seen, and generally inexpensive at that. I need to replace my back brake switch myself. kinda glad you brought this up.

Hi

I have never heard of anyone repairing a banjo bolt switch. I replaced one last year on my KTM, cheap part and easy work.

Thanks for your excellent thread on ADV.com (DickyB's Turkish Delights). I always look forward to new pics and stories…:thumbup1::thumbup1:

Thanks for the speedy response bobthebiker. Thought as much but thought I would ask as they are difficult to get here in Turkey.

Cheers,

Dickyb
