braided hoses

Hi
Looking at making my front brake a bit more responsive. How much difference do braided hoses make?
Cheers Dave

Depends how bad your standard rubber brake hoses are? Old hoses can expand in the middle. lessening braking effect.

Wrap braided hoses in plastic spiral wrap to stop them chaffing paint & wiring.

Agreed. If they're new then you probably wouldnt notice.

Braided lines are better as they dont expand like rubber but they only expand when they really heat up (racing) .

You would feel more difference with better brake pads and a clean disk with nicely bled lines than just going for braided.

If your lines are over 5 years old or high mileage though, id consider a braided ones.
