Battery Dimension Question

Hey guys n gals. I have a 1985 or so xt 600, and when I bought it it did not come with a battery. I was just wondering what the dimensions of the original battery are, and also if anyone knows what a original part number would be, that would be great!

Also, are these batteries just held in with a single strap, or is there a cover for the battery box, or...?

Assuming you've got a 34L model, you have a tiny little battery. a Yuasa YB5L I think is pretty close. google your specific year and model to get an exact part number.
