'84-'89 fork spacing
Can anyone tell me the fork spacing for the '84-'89 XT600 (as in center-center distance the fork tubes are apart)? Thanks.

I'll get those measurements for ya man. any others you need, dont be afaid to ask, I got LOTS of time and dont mind measuring stuff for ya.
center to center distance at the triple tree is 7 3/8" apart. |

for the best measure possible, measure from the outside of both forks than measure the fork diameter

not even necessary. dead center on the upper triple tree on mine, is a cut where the pinch bolts pinch the tubes, on each side in such a place as to be the ideal measurement reference point.

Cool, 7 3/8" it is. That's good, it looks like the spacing is the same between the first and second-gen XT600s. I'm looking at parts swapping compatibility. Thanks for taking the time.
