43F XT600 - has to go

hello all,
i am not sure if i have posted this in the right place, no doubt someone will tell me if i have not! but it seems a good place to start. i did use this site a couple of years ago to get the information on getting the bike to run and getting the age cert, so thought i would give the real fans and users a chance of getting the bike first.
i have an Italian import 1984 kick start only XT600 43F. there is no paperwork, but i do have a dating cert from the VJMC verifying the model and age. i was going to get it registered, but i have left the bike stood for various reasons now for 2 years and i will never get around to doing it. so obviously it has no MOT either.
the bike is in pretty good condition, gold rims, red and white trim. all the electrics work and no rust to speak of (bit on exhaust). the carb was serviced by David LAmbeth, new inlet rubbers too. it does run (but would obviously benefit from some fettling and regular use). only parts missing i can see are the scoops on the side of the tank, but may be some other bits and bobs.
i am in the UK, Cheshire. if anyone is interested in obtaining the bike then please ask any questions you may have and i will try to answer them for you. i do have some photo's i can forwrad too. i dont want a ridiculous sum for the bike, and want it to go to a decent home if i can find one. i have put a private email address in this thread that you can contact me on rather than use up HUBB time and space.
make me an offer, or if there is enough interest i will split it... but dont really want to. best offer secures (as long as it 's reasonable).

please feel free to contact me on ianrogron123@aol.com

i am away for a week after saturday but will reply as soon as i can.

i hope i have not abused the site rules. thanks for reading.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
