3aj kick start
Hi all, anyone out there have a list of parts that I need to add a kick start to my 3aj?
Would these bits be the same as the kick start on the 1vj? Thanks |

Hi,
You may be interested in this link to Klaus' excellent site. The kickstart write-up is in German. You can get the gist through using Altavista to translate, etc..., if you did not learn German. (I did get get it translated by a German friend, but I think it is on my old broken PC). http://www.xt600.de/xt_werkstatt/+ba...rter/index.htm The parts I used were all from a 1VJ that was being broken, and the only part that was not compatible for my 3AJ was the decompression cable. The outer casing end needs to be thinner to fit between the mouldings into the crankcase seating, and I purchased a decompression cable for a (younger) TT600 that fitted perfectly. Good luck. Geoff |
