3AJ fork oil level?
Hiya
A limitation of the otherwise excellent XT600 Clymer manual is that it doesn't have info on Teneres. Does anyone know the correct fork oil level for a 3AJ? Also, I've not changed fork oil before (too messy) so I don't know how to measure it - any tips? I tried using a measuring cylinder (medical type) but I doubt I got it right. I was going to try taking the springs out with the bike on a stand, then measuring distance from top of fork to oil level. I've been told that it's more important to get the levels equal in each fork than to get exactly the right quantity. Comments/suggestion? B ------------------ Barry 3AJ Tenere
