3AJ Clutch plates

Hi

my mate has a 89 XT600 3AJ, i have a '97 XTZ660 3YF, are the clutch plates the same??

I can't directly answer you question but if you find a online parts fish you can look up both parts and compare their ##. I use a US based site that unfourtantly dosen't list the 660.

Hi. I work in a Yamaha dealer, when I'm not travelling, and own a Tenere. Just checked the Yamaha parts catalogue and the clutch plates for the 3AJ and 3YF are the same part numbers. Hope this helps. Regards, Peter.
