2Ef motor?
I bought an 86' xt600 7 months ago and now i am rebuilding the motor. Have been searching threads and can not find this model motor anywhere. What is wierd is that it has an extra line connection in front of the crankbreather line. Its plugged, the motor ran fine so i didnt dwell of the issue. Is this an Srx motor. Thanks

86' Xt600 w/ 96mm wiseco 11.5 to 1 Piston, polished head, .438/.426 cam with race sprins and titanium retainers, stock header w/ custom vance n hines shorty muffler. Soon adding raptor 660 carbs and Procircuit full exhaust. Did I mention its FAST!!

1986 SRX600 S US Spec.
Hi.
This is a 1986 US Spec' SRX600S motor. The big breather tube goes to the airbox. The small one goes to the oil tank - you may already have the oil tank breather/overflow tube going to the rocker cover - in which case, yes it is ok to plug this. David Lambeth DAVID LAMBETH RALLY & OVERLAND
