Question 1990 Tenere lights

Hello all.

Ive finally bought my first tenere, a 1990 with 31k km in ok condition.
Only bad is that its a 3DS with square headlight.
Does anyone know where I can get a pair of round lights? With mounts?

Got some for sale, or do you know a good webshop?
Been searching the web for days, but cant find anyting.

Any other mods that need to be done with 3DS?

Osmund, Norway

If you are changing the lights you will also need the mounts and twin headlight fairing, could be expensive. The lights are the same as eairly FZR 600 lights. I think this is the mount for the lights Yamaha XT 600 Z XT600 3AJ Geweih Verkleidungshalter bei eBay.de: Markenspezifische Teile (endet 16.04.09 23:14:44 MESZ) You may want to check your clocks are the same as the 3aj.

Thank you for the tip.
Im not too familiar with ebay, didnt try .de until now, only .com. Ill check it out thoroughly and see what I can find.

I dont have pictures of it yet. It looks the same as the 88-89 light blue tenere, only with a square light. 3DS... on engine cover, 3AJ on the sylinder.
It has only done 31k km, and looks very good, so I had to buy it. Theres not so many left of them here. I dont HAVE TO change the lights, but it would make it perfect..

Hej,

I have a 3AJ headlight mounting for sale. Can offer also 3AJ headlights - but the adjustment screws don't work. They would go for free.

There is an almost complete 3AJ in parts available (no bodywork).

Near Gothenburg, SE

Send me a PM if there is any interest.

mvh

Uwe
