1984 xt600 service manual needed

I have been searching for a free service manual .pdf for my 1984 xt600.
Only can find 1990 yamaha xt600 A/AC .pdf this is different then my bike it has electric start and few other things I noticed are different.
I have to take my side cover off due to kickstart grinding problem and was hoping to find a manual with list of parts and process of remove and install.
thanks

check some online parts supplier such as Yamaha of Troy Yamaha Parts and Accessories - 20% Discount on Yamaha OEM Parts, 10% Discount on Aftermarket Parts Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories – BikeBandit.com as they should have the parts diagrams!

this is a good link to bikebandit for the 1984 XT600L:
1984 Yamaha XT600L OEM Parts, 1984 Yamaha XT600L OEM Replacement Parts - BikeBandit.com

As for the torque for nuts and stuff, engine of the XT-E is basically the same so you could probably use the same torques on the workshop manual you got.. but someone please correct me as I'm not very familiar with the pre 1990 engine...?

I've personally assembled a kickstart onto my 1990 XT600E and everything works great with no problem!

On the link below :
http://dl.transfer.ro/XT600_1984_int...-63d6b8428.rar

i have uploaded you :

* 2 editions of English microfiches. 50 and 67 pages, little differences between them, but i thought to send both. Perhaps if you study them more than the 30 sec. i spent you`ll see that they are different and both important.
* An Italian service manual - it has 140 Pages, very good and undersandable (i.m.o., as being Romanian i understand Italian easier). In the worst case scenario, Google Translate.
* The Yamaha XT600Z Tenere 34L (1983-1985) German Microfiches. 46 pages. From my knowledge it is the same engine. Your only duty is to compare these microfiches with the XT600 ones and see if i`m right. If they have the same engine (in addition to compare the exploded images you`ll be 1000 % sure if most of the parts have the same series). If they do, than these microfiches will be very very helpfull because they have all the measures for the torque/dynamometric wrench and all the wear limits for the components.
* The Yamaha TT600 K 1984 English Service Manual. 168 pages, quite complete. I send it as it explains very good lots of processes and because i believe (not sure, so don`t shoot please) that this model shares lots of things with yours.

All the best and all the efficiency you can have in your work !

P.S. - The files will be available for aprox. 10 days on this free upload site. If anybody will later need them - PM.
