Just read "Lois on the Loose"

My boyfriend bought me "Lois on the Loose" for Christmas and I've got to say what a fabulous read it was. I normally take ages reading a book but I finished this one really quickly. It has really inspired me to take my module 2 and arrange a trip for the summer. I won't be able to do a long trip like Lois did, but hopefully I'll get away in Europe for 2-3 weeks.

You never know, I might get to meet her at Ripley in June............

Inspired!

Sally, good for you! Its great to feel inspired aint it.

The best of luck with doing your module 2. Make sure you post some updates on how things go for and tell us about your trips.

Its not where you go or for how long, its all about what you get from it! Have fun exploring.

There's another great, very inspiring book. From 2 belgian women who travelled together to most moslim countries:
"Girls, Moslims and Bikes" (Meisjes, moslims & motoren) it's called but unfortunately it's only available in Dutch.
They should give a presentation at a HUBB meeting actually, it would be great to aim the spot a bit more on women and bikes doing great things together!

Cool Red Tape

Red Tape is great, and better than Loose. Lois is on Facebook now worth saying hello.
HU ladies on the loose dvd is great, even for the blokes to watch.
Good Luck.

Hi Selous Mrs, here, he has all 5 dvd's they are all worth watching, I did find the dvd bit for us girls a bit too girlie? in places, either way I enjoyed it.
We have ordered heroes on the Rd.
I cant decide Lois or Tiffany, as both these girls have there own merits.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
