Thanks for the reply. Wouldn't suspect that leaded would cause her to run badly, just that it will kill the cat slowly. Let us know what they measure at your next ASU. Had an emission test done as a freeby at my dealer and it was OK. A few times in Iran I wasn't sure if it was unleaded.

Now the bike is registered in New Zealand. No emission test there :-)

It will come as no surprise to those who know me, that in my humble opinion a YAMAHA XT600E ticks all the boxes here.

It's cheap, well made, unfussy with fuel, robust, simple, reliable and above all the engine is bulletproof.

What more could you want from a RTW trail bike?
