varadero vs gs 1100?
i was wondering which will be better.. vara or gs 1100? In the place that I stay , Singapore.. a 8 year old GS 1100 cost the same as a 1.5 year old Varadero.. but I don't know which will be the better one to use for touring.. the pros and cons that I am pondering over are things like the maintanence, fuel consumption, cost of parts etc.. i heard og sensor problems of GS , and fuel pump problem for 2002 VARA, but these are just hearsay, I never rode them before, so please give me your comment if you are riding them .. Thanks!

I wouldn't think that anything would go wrong with the honda especially one of them and I could imadgine it to be excellent if you are to stick to tarmac there again GS's aren't good off road either just a bit more solid if dropped. sure you can buy crash bars though.
i bet you could sell the GS in singapore for 3 times what you paid for it even after riding there which is nice to know. |
