US Resident with Panamanian Bike...International Travel a Problem?
HI all,
I'm a US resident that bought my f800gs in Panama (I now live in Panama). My question is at the end of the year I plan to spend about 4 months in South America and if all is well keep on traveling form there. Will I have any problems with border crossings since the bike is from a different country than my own (it is registered under my name)? I used to live in Costa Rica and took my Costa Rican bike to several Central American countries without a problem. I just wanted to see if anyone else has done long term travel with a bike with plates from a different country. Thank you in Advance. |
