Tdm 900

I am in the process of organising my RTW trip and am at the stage were I have to decide which bike to take.Ive looked at KTM(too tall),BMW(too heavy & weird) and a variety of other trail/enduros but none seemed right. Then I realised that the TDM 900 that I bought last year as a commuter might be the ideal bike. However I dont know of anyone who done this type of trip on one before.I would therefore be grateful for advice from anyone regarding suitability, suspension upgrades etc, etc. All advice andhelp gratefully received, thanks

Take a look at Richard and Lisa parkinsons Blog on the Travellers tales pages..they used a TDM850 and I wished I had most of the time.
