Sidecar on a strom?
Hey folks,
Wife and I are pondering over bikes for her, and then it hit me. Has anyone seen or put a sidecar on their Strom (any kind)? We both really like the Stroms for the price and reliability (not to mention major aftermarket support), but her inseam is 28-29 inches, so that doesn't really help her case. What is out there? |

Been thinking about putting a chair on my Strom too .
You'll need to build a subframe as the engine is a stressed member on the Vstrom . Dauntless have done one M72 D Sidecar and Claude Stanley Freedom Sidecars and Trailers There are several guys building Vstrom outfits Hacks - ADVrider Good luck

sidecar dl 1000
I ride a vstrom dl 1000 with a articulated fleximum sidecar for two people, plus hiring a aero trailer in the back for approx. 51500 km... It is a very different way to travel with the family, but the bike is still acting as a bike in the curves, not the same as a fixed sidecar without leaning. Patrice
