Nice one Fletch.
I think this is going to be a walk in the park for you, and I suspect you are going to have a great time doing it.
The "Which Bike" is not as difficult as you think and when you make your choice I am sure it will be the right one. One other consideration on the bike is the financial risk, it is one you mention in you blogg and often gets forgotten. When you’re in the back of beyond you don't want to be concerned about 9K of motorcycle. There are going to be times when you are glad it's not a lot of money (unless you are incredibly rich). Any short comings of the bike will become apparent and you will be able to overcome them, the more you travel the more you get to appreciate your bike.

Flying Gringo...

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony" – Gandhi

At this moment it time, what I 'think' is I want my next wandering sabbatical to be on a motorbike for various reasons that at present seem very justifiable to myself. But I'm not the kinda of guy to let pride get in the way of a Fall :cool4: So if in ten months time I don't think it's such a good idea, or I believe the bike will hinder the enjoyment of my next escape from reality, or if I believe I can't realistically achieve what I want without possibly killing myself or others I won't use a one.

But if you wanna give me 1440-2-1 put me down for $10 then at least then I'll cover my startup costs… LOL

Lone Rider…

Dreams, hey, if we don't have them, they can't come true :thumbup1:

Experience… Now there's my Achilles Heal. In my late teens, nearly twenty years ago now I did a bit, but since then apart from riding pillion a few times virtually none. But surely it’s just like riding a bike, no? ;o) Guess we’ll find out soon enough :o) Ohh and I really hate flying :cool4:

Happy Hacker…

No worries dude.. Thanx for your support.

Thanx appreciate that...:biggrin3:

Incredibly rich though, Moi? Na, I've always spent my cash on to many good 'Holidays', well, OK and Guinness ;o)

Good point on the bikes value though, helps me justify to myself being a tight Yorkshireman.

Thanx All

Your dreams are your limits. What you can't dream you can't achieve.
