riding and Surfing??!! Which bike??/
 

Good day too you all.

I am planning a solo bike trip from Morocco down the west coast of Africa to cape town. I spend a lot of time in west Africa for work, as im from the UK.

My plan is to hug the coast and surf all the way down. hopefully find some uncrowded remote waves. I will have to attached a surf board rack to the Bike. This is very easy and inexpensive.

My question is What bike would be suitable . Im thinking a KTM 525 as im going to be searching around the coast a lot for that elusive wave.

Has anybody done something similar?

Get something that won't get stolen when you are surfing, so not the KTM.
