ride a monster750 from sf to mexico??
has anyone actually tried riding a ducati monster 750 from the us to mexico city?
my bike is a 2000 model in fairly good shape. i'm thinking of riding it down to mexico from san francisco, and selling it there. [as a mexican moving house from the states to mexico that's not a problem].
however, i'm wondering if the bike itself could take the trip. it's never given me any problems whatsoever, but needing italian parts in the middle of the sierra madre occidental is not a happy thought.
if you have, how did you deal? any and all anecdotes very welcomed.
