No perfect bike
There is no perfect bike, there's perfect bikes for specific uses. But I have come to the conclusion that the perfect bike in South America has nothing to do with the perfect bike in North America/EU etc.
The only solution is to stash different bikes on every continent Shit, now I guess I've got to get a job Then again ![]()

I agree, given the high cost and complexity of freighting bikes about, it makes sense to me to buy/rent a different bike for some different stages.. What you would need for USA/Europe will be different for Africa/Asia etc. One day I hope to visit my brother in OZ, and I would like to ride around the island
but wont be taking a bike with me. He on teh other hand wants to tour in a camper van. I guess he will have to follow me
