Wink New bike models in 2008

A sub-forum to "which bike", or a complete new forum, could be devoted to rumoured bikes in 2008 and beyond - this particular Yamaha link is in at least one other post in another forum + there are rumours for Kawasaki and their Versys model + we are all waiting with bated breath for the 800GS offering from Beemer, which is a particularly strong "rumour" around the showrooms etc etc.

It is the time of year when the 2008 bike shows are being discussed/rumoured (if there is such a verb) and it keeps the biking press busy.

You forgot to mention the 'Guzzi Stelvio which is supposed to be appearing in 1200 and 850 variants at some point in the next few years.

Sorry Sagar....... in truth I have not heard of that one - I must hang around Guzzi showrooms more frequently!!

I was talking with a guy who has just got a Guzzi Norge a couple of months back and he was well impressed with that tourer - doing all the talking at the Beemer dealer as well! (is that some form of heresy?!)

Dave

ps Apologies for not mentioning the complete lack of a new TA\AT from the big H or a possible replacement for the 1000cc V-strom.

However, in speaking with a Triumph dealer recently, he had no interest in "dual sport" (call it what you like, he knew what I meant) bikes - he is very happy selling "street bikes". His best sellers, alledgely, are the 1050cc "family" and the Bonneville & he reckons that the new 675 cc Street triple, out next month definitely, is taking a lot of interest (so it will at the price).

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
