Moto Guzzi Belagio 950cc

:mchappy: May make a lovely smooth tourer with a few tweaks.

My Brother just took delivery of one of these here in the UK and after a quick blast I can confirm its a great bike.

Its a cruiser in the Street Bob form but I would say with a wind shield and luggage it would make a lovely tarmac tourer. Its also much cheaper in the Uk.

If you like youre Bikes low and stylish check one of these out I was very impressed and if I had the cash for a road Bike I would get one Today.

Even if I can understand that others may have it, I have absolutely zero-zip-nada feelings for cruiser-like bikes. Except for one. The Guzzi Bellagio. It's so stylish, sleek and un-bling-blinged, if you know what I mean. Definitely very un-Harley. European elegance at its best. If I had the money and needed a roadster/cruiser to fill up the garage, I'd go for the Bellagio in a heartbeat.

Norway Bike prices

Hans, just wondered what kind of price a Bellagio works out at over in Oslo ? My younger brother lives near Haugasund and he finds the bikes very expensive. Over here they go for £6999 its not cheap but its a lot of bike for the money.

You really don't want to know. But since you ask: The Bellagio RRP is 15000 GBP/22000 euro. And then you want to add a screen, some panniers and so on...

wow thats crazy

That seems ridiculous. How can they justify such a mark up I guess its your government. Any Uk rider will be pleasantly suprised to see that our prices are not so bad after all.

It's the Norwegian economy Stu - high salaries, high costs (McDonald type beefburger and Coke = £10), high taxation and an excellent standard of living for about 10m people.

Visit there and try it out.

4.5 million people. And your typical oil fuelled economy.

Ah! Sorry Hans, I just doubled your population - a bit like the UK in the past few years!
