The 640 is an awsome machine. Its in a class, all its own. I have an 07 with 27,000 miles on it and its running strong. The KLR is a great bike too. It will take you anywhere you want to go.

My only concern about buying a used bike are the modifications people make to the airbox, carb and exhaust. Unless they really know what their doing, you don't know what your getting.

Hi Daryl

Thanks for your reply! Yes I think the KLR is the a very good bike, is reliable and is perfect for a trip! because is very simple!! but I fill is very soft when I go off road! so I am thinking in improve the suspesions front and rear (do you something good) or change her for a KTM 640 (second hand) cause is not in stock any more!! did you have traveled on that bike? had problems (CDI, FORK SEALS, anything?) I dont trust in the KTM 950/950 or dirt bikes but some people say that the 640adv is the best!!
