Inseamed Impaired

Is it possible to drop the seat height of a kawi KLR 650 or a Honda XR 650 down to 30" 750 mm. I know the BMW f650's come out or the box at that height but I'd hate for my decision on "which bike" to come down to seat height.

You can also cut your seat. Use a stronger foam than the original one. It's a lot more comfortable.

Don't forget that once loaded, your bike will be more lower.

buy something else

I actually think it would be a good thing to buy another bike, then send kawa/honda/suzuki a picture of it telling them of your decision. Why these modern day manufactureres think we want quarter ton+ bikes with metre high seats is beyond me. Especially high seat 'offroad' bikes.

For reasons of ergonomics alone i really beleive my next bike will be an Enfield Electra ( with Right hand shift of course)
