Husqvarna TE 610 E
Is there anybody out there, touring this husky??
I am looking forward to get this husqvarna, but most of the comments I received from it, is that this is a “civilized” enduro. Not really a trail bike. I just want to know if any one has tried this bike for any trip, and how would it score compared to the KLX650, XT600, or F650GS… Thanks!! |

ive ridden the husky, and its a beast. fantastic, great fun, fast, powerful. if i was an expert off-roader i would have one tomorrow. that is the problem, its too fast and powerful for its own good! also, its like sitting on a garden fence, a proper motorcross seat. the supermotard version on the other hand, i would sell my wife for

Dave thanks for the comments, however you came up with the same info. I am sure its an offroad beast, but is it any good onroad??. Most of the huskies are pretty wild, nevertheless this "Te 610 E" is supposed to be the gentle one, besides I heard its possible to adapt it longer gears. Trying to find here the dual-divinity!.
Thanks! |

if you just want the bike for the road, it works great but not for very long, because of that motorcross seat! the engine is fantastic for the road, but a handful off-road. lots of torque and power so it would handle taller sprockets easily i should think. not comfortable for long periods though, lets face it, supermotos are toys really anyway. mine certainly is!

Yeah, top bike, - I was looking at doing the same.
Well suspended and with more off road capability then anything the same size -except KTM or Husaberg. The problem is doing all those things overlanders like doing -bigger tank, better seat - ive seen 1 company in Germany that makes a 22 litre tank. Its alloy frame is not strong enough to load up with gear for a long trip over serious ground -too much flex. It's a great bit of kit and as a SM would be awesome, but doesnt have the reliability and basics of an overlander. Fantastic performances and handling, but poor building quality and reliability. Not recommended for overlanding.
