got them!

Right, we found them. 250cc dirt bikes cost around 2500 dollars and tend to be in good shape. We brought them from La Paz, or should i say a place above La paz called El Alto. We are currently in the jungle having taken 5 days getting here. The roads up to the jungle are poor, we hope the rest of Bolivia won't be like it!!!

What bikes!

Like Pockethead said, what kind of bikes did you get in the end? I hope they're used japanese bikes rather than new chinese! I've been living in the country for a while so if there's anything like contacts info you need, let me know.

We Got 2 Honda´s!

we bought 2 hond's in the end, baja (xlr) and an xr both in good condition and getting us around bolivia. The roads are the biggest problem. Deep sand, and washboard. However did the best riding today uyuni to potosi with amazing scenery, but bolivia isn't short of that... just asphalt and accurate maps!

We will be heading back to La Paz to sell the bikes in about 2 weeks.

thanks for your help Gertsman.

We made it back. Check out you tube for our journey!
