what do you think about the honda xr600/650 for a rtw trip?

I think as a XR650L driver that the 600R is not the best choice.
Imagine a long distance with that bike!
Starting with no e starter,smal frontlight.
Little gastank and the list goes on.
Excelent suspension.
But is your choice.

on or off-road? remote or not?

if you're going to do a lot of remote off-road, the XR6 is a good enough starting point assuming you can get hold of the 40+ litre tank and have the time, money and knowledge to set it up. having had both 650L and 650R, I'd consider the 600R BECAUSE its not reliant on an electric start and, I'm told, it is gruntier than the L which is asthmatic.

if you're sticking to the bigger, tarred routes then you don't really need an enduro and you might as well go for a more comfortable seat :-)

i'm now back to my initial undecision...
but i still have a long time to wait before i'll be able to afford one. but are the L and R very differnt?

i see theres already too many debates around L or R, so, nevermind my last post. i'll just read other posts and see what others say about them.
