honda varadero 125cc touring?

hi all,

i was just wondering if anyone has heard of a 125 varadero being used as a touring machine around england/europe?

the varadero is my first motorcycle which i only ride in london at the moment, but feels big enough and maybe (just) fast enough to go further afield?

take care all!

Hi,
several years ago I met a pair on their way back from Turkey to Germany, XT600E and little Varadero, husband and wife. As someone have previously said, any bike can do :-)

Rupert Wilson-Young recently rode a 50cc scooter from Alaska to Ushuaia, so a 125 should be easy!

Others have ridden 50, 90, and 125's rtw, so go, have a great time! You will of course have to adjust where you go, (no autobahn!) but that's part of the fun.

Read lots, and you'll learn all you need to know right here.

Search the site too.

well,i guess travelling on a 125 allows me to look in my mirrors and see where i've been a little longer http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif
its amazing that people have travelled so far on just a 50cc!
i guess i should pack light to help the lack of power!

many thank for your advice, take care.
