Honda NXR-125 Commuter "comments"

Many have written me regarding the purchase of a Honda NXR 125 Commuter in Buenos Aires. I have no experience riding this bike.

If anyone has any comments that I might pass on to those who want to buy this bike new, have a custom made rack installed for their soft luggage, and tour Argentina, these comments would be greatly appreciated. Here are 2 videos and specs for the NXR-125 Commuter.

You can have a look at the bike here:

Need comments on NXR 125 Bros

If anyone can say anything good or bad about the Honda NXR 125 Bros it is appreciated here.... Good description and 2 YouTube videos in previous post.

I am swamped with requests for this bike for the purpose of tailing the DAKAR Rally (03jan -16jan more or less) and people want my opinion. I have no long term or touring experience with this bike.

All say, minimum gear, and just want the hoot of following the DAKAR Rally for a couple days. Most have 3 weeks to "tour" and are willing to spend 1 week in Buenos Aires (tough work, but someone has to do it) for title , registration, insurance etc...

Final Cost of the new Honda NXR 125 Bros is only $3,100.00 USD delivered plus about $150 USD for taxes, title registration and insurance.

Dealer will buy back all NXR 125s if they have less than 12,000 K and normal wear and tear, or I will park this bike until your next tour or upgrade.

Any thoughts on the Honda NXR 125 Bros welcome.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
