As a native of the US I have a somewhat limited amount of bikes to choose from. I am however in The Mediterrainean working on a yacht. When the boat heads back West to the states I could throw any machine I wanted on the back of the vessel. Is it worth it financially to do this? I was told it would cost me a fortune to register a bike that wasn't DOT certified. Still free shipping? Any input would be great for... lets say a BMW12oogs, 1150gs, or an Africa Twin. Do I win in the end wallet wise?
