f650 or klr650
I am traveling from Peru to Tierra del Fuego to Brazil and back next spring and I want to ride a smaller bike than my r1150gsa. I will be on asphalt/hard pack 90 - 95% of the time.
I have very limited off road experience. The off road sections will be quite technical and I will likely be solo. I am leaning towards the KLR in off road situations because it is lighter. But, I think I like the F650 for every other reason. What advise do you have - The F650GS or the KLR650? What are their strengths and weaknesses?
