dr 200 info needed
just came across a dr 200 which i quite like the look of for my vertically challenged friend. the bike is smoking a little and needs a starter. are the parts widely available for these bikes in the uk? was it generally imported here? it looks like a little project for the winter whilst she is learning on her 125cc. anyone had experience with these? thanks for any advice.

Nice wee bike
The DR200 is a hard little worker, and usually last well. If you can't get parts there, there are lots on NZ.
I had a Canadian couple doing a lap of the Pacific Rim stay. He had a DR600 he had had forever, and she had a DR200. She had basically learned to ride on the trip. He said, even after riding most of the way up to Cape York after NZ, that if he was honest, he bike was the better bike for the trip, and it was only ego that kept him on his bike. Let me know if you need any parts scouting done over here. Regards Nigel in NZ
