Buell Ulysses
 Does anyone have any input on the new Buell Ulysses? I am planning a trip to Alaska in the summer and want to ride an American made bike. HD cruisers are not my style. The Buell looks like the only other option, but broken down is to be avioded.Any input would be nice.

Hi,
Go over to ADVrider to the "beasts" forum and look for Uly posts. lots of info there on this bike. It's actually a great bike but does take getting used to. Many are put off but don't give it a chance. Much like a Guzzi and even some Ducati's, you have to ride the Uly a bit different. Its quite reliable, just keep the mud out of the cooling fins in Alaska. I've tested a couple Uly's and really liked them both. If you are over about 5'9" then you should have no problem....the bike is tall but has a different low seat. Patrick
