Bikes in South America
Hi, i'm looking to buy a motorcycle in Quito, Ecuador and was hoping anyone could give me advice on what to look for in the cheaper range of bikes? I'm looking to spend below 800 USD on a bike that will hopefully take me around south america and maybe back up to the U.S. (if i can figure out a cheap way to cross the Darien Gap). Also, where should I be looking for a bike? I check the classified sections in the papers, but does anyone know of an Ecuadorean motorcycle buying forum (either an even or a publication)? Thanks for the help,
