which is better :SV-650 or kwak ZR-7S
i'm a brand new rider and plan to tour norway, 1400 miles to nordkapp.
I just wanted to ask: which of the 2 bikes are better for touring, of course also considering the fact that I am a beginner, and if at all possible also want the bike I pick to be usable day to day. kwak ZR-7S or Suzuki SV-650S? |

When looking purely touring side then the Kawa must be better bike; specially if you opt the half-faired S-model. Comfort and riding position are more relaxed than with SV, bags are easier to mount (side racks with bags + tank bag should be enough).
When thinking about fun factor, SV wins 6-0 with its lively V2 engine, lower weight and more modern riding qualities. But of course the best option would be the 3rd bike: 650 V-Strom... ;-) (yes, totally biased opinion: ordered one last week and the other candidates were SV600, ZR-7S, FZ6 and CBF600S - not a real competition there I'm afraid)
