Aprilia Pegaso 650 Trail
Hello
I am new to this forum. I recently got a 2006 Pegaso Trail, absolutely love it, even though (or maybe because) it seems to be a deeply untrendy bike. Anybody else here ride one? Any advice on useful modifications for this bike for long distance travel, apart from a more substantial bash plate? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Any bike is a great bike if it gets you out there. As well as a bash plate think about frame protectors where your heels rub. Storing the original exhaust and fitting an aftermarket model can also loose you some weight and gain a wee bit more power. Look at different types of tyres for the type of terrain you are mostly traveling on. Theres loads of info on the hubb re different types of luggage. Look them up as it will help you make up your mind on whats best for you. Enjoy youre bike and let everyone know any useful tips you pick up.

Pegaso Trail by Aprilia looks to be a off shoot of the BMW f650 funduro or classic. Aprilia made the F650 till 1999 I think using Rotax motors.
but parts and things for the bike I dont see as much for its other bikes but here we go. Genuine Aprilia spare parts for Pegaso Strada-Trail 650 IE 2005 TwistedThrottle.com : ...by What Fits My Bike - Aprilia - Pegaso 650 ('97-'00), Pegaso 650 i.e. ('01-'05), & Pegaso 650 Strada/Trail ('06-) - Aprilia.com Going to bit harder to find after market kit for the bike but custom items can be made. Most bikes can use new frunt and back shocks fork braces custom seat. |
