2000 Aprilia Pegaso?
Greetings,
I've been considering getting a good used 650 single dual sport for longer trips, mostly looking for a KLR/DR/Dakar. Now there's this 2000 Aprilia Pegaso with only 400 miles. Seller asking $4000. I've done some research and looks like a nice bike, mostly street, but I also know it's a minuscule market in the US, and resale value is nil. Any suggestions much appreciated. Cheers, t |

Dont know the exact geneology but BMW F650 was made by Aprillia until the factory was built in east berlin. So I would think they are pretty similar engine wise.
spares for DR/KLR/XR/XT would be more common in the rest of the world. I am sure there are lots of happy aprillia owners in Europe. I suppose big tanks etc are more dificult to find.
