hello all!

i've been lurking on Horizons for the past few weeks as I just found out about this extremely useful forum from a buddy. It's been invaluable as my wife and I are about to embark on our first long range tour - from San Antonio, TX to Tuktoyaktuk in Canada. I wish I had known about the site earlier as I would have loved to get to know some of you before we left but alas - it was not meant to be.

Either way, we'll be riding (or driving, rather) a 2007 Ural Gear Up and I'd love to post some sort of ride report along the way. Looking forward to getting to know some of you...

Glad to see I'm not the only one (2007 Ural Sportman - a Gear-Up in plain colours and no spot - two people and two dogs)!!
