Newbie girl

Hi! My name is Cynthia and I’m new to this forum. I’m joining Chris’s Transcontinental Humanitarian Expedition and just wanted to introduce myself. I’ll be the expedition photographer, but I promise to let Chris take a shot with me in it now and then. For those of you who are not familiar with the expedition, it’s a non-profit ride around the world, to 200 countries, 24 times zones, and 130 degrees of latitude to raise funds and awareness for the number one cause of death in the world: Hunger. Chris has completed his Canada and United States tour and he reached the Arctic Circle on Sept. 15, 2009. From here on, we will be heading South. You can catch up on the older ride reports and see the pictures at Motorcycle Memoir

:welcome: aboard. That sounds like an epic adventure that Chris and yourself are on. Safe travels.:scooter:

What an epic journey, and coupled to a noble cause.

(splutters with envy)

Welcome on board and enjoy the trip.

In the words of Brian Fantana:
"I'm telling you, it don't get no better than this....":blushing:

Chris who?:confused1:
There are probably a dozen people by the name Chris here. But as I don't know you, I guess you aren't on my trip....:scooter:

Well, maybe she's not using her real name (now where's that smiley icon I was instructed to use....?):Beach:

Wow, that is epic -- five years, six continents, humanitarian effort. So Chris is on a 1982 Suzuki GS850 ... Cynthia, are you riding two up or will you have your own bike?

This will be worth following. Best of luck! :thumbup1:

The man must have some charisma, to have lined up all those sponsors. But I'm afraid he's not going to own a bike for long if he makes it that easy to steal in at least a hundred fifty of those two hundred countries. Here's hoping the learning curve is steep....as it sure has been for me.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
The Chris who I am referring to is Chris Sorbi (T.H.E)
For now I am going to be riding 2-up.
There is a new post up on the website or under the ride tales section of the forum. We aren't officially on or "back" on the road yet but the time is coming! I have to finish up a lot of loose ends before quitting my day-to-day life and hitting the road for the next who knows how long. This is all very last-minute and sudden for me.
Happy holidays,
Cynthia (yes, this is my real name Chris! :tongue3:
