Newbie from Clinton Missouri USA

Hello all. Hope in the coming days you will be patient with me. I am a new rider to the street, but have been riding dirt bikes and quads since I was 22. Am now 49. I currently have a Yamaha Raptor 350 quad and a Yamaha Vstar 1100 street bike. Hope to learn from you all with some questions about lots of things. Once I am used to riding more on the street I would like to branch out and go on further rides away from home. I am currently a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association too! Thank You for the warm welcome. Where exactly are you from? My wifes cell phone woke me up this morning. I have been up since 5am here in Clinton, Missouri USA.

How is the weather over there in Greece, Zandesiro?
Here it was 60 today, going to be 65 Saturday, 70 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday. I am so looking forward to going riding this weekend. I need all the seat time I can get! What kind of motorcycle do you have? Mine is a Yamaha Vstar 1100, 1999 year model. She is a little older but not very many miles.

Zandesiro, Your bike is really GREAT. Does the fairing block most of the wind? Is your bike also considered a sport tour, or adventure tour?
Thank You for the compliment, she is not too bad looking for a 99. This past weekend I cleaned her up even more, and then shining all of the chrome. Ran out of my favorite which is turtle wax with rust remover. Sunday I went and rode around town with my son.
I can not believe the weather we are having here. It is suppose to cool off a little tomorrow and heat back up by this weekend.
I do want to get my bike out and ride this coming weekend. Do you ride everyday? I currently am looking at getting the riding gear for cooler weather riding. I bought some insulated chaps as I wear shorts to work because our factory's inside temp is near 80 degree all the time. Only thing I will need next is a leather jacket. I have my eye on an Alpinestar!
