New to Site

Lurking for a while, registered yesterday. Older Irish rider living in Santa Monica California. Have a 2006 BMW R1200GS. Just finished 2500 mile ride the length of Baja Mexico. Visited the birthing whales and got to scratch their backs. Ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan and back to USA. Great trip, recommend a visit to the whales if you get down to Baja Dec - April. Planning next trip further south soon. Great site.

I've often looked at the Santa Monica highway whilst being in Santa Monica and thought about riding 'round California.

Lovely part of the world
