New member and new to message boards!!
 

Hi everyone, and thanks for letting me join (what it was automated and everyone gets in??).
Older rider living in South America (Brazil and Peru - 6 months per annum in each), and this year bought a 250cc trail bike in Peru and just completed over 5000 miles (well, 8400 kms so far) riding round the Northern area. Has been an amazing journey so far, and Peru is a wonderful country, even for solo travellers.
In Brazil I have a 150cc Honda, but would not risk the roads there, so only ride local to where I live. Been riding since I was 16, but with an extended break following a bad accident due to family pressure - now I am old I can do whatever I want!!

Of course, especially if now you are the "senior" of the family! I am now the elder statesman, and unless (until!) they commit me I am the boss! (I think!) It does help that I live over 5000 miles away from any other family members!
